These Terms and Conditions create an agreement between you and CD Rate Scout Ltd. covering your use of cdratescout.com and every form, tool and piece of content offered on it. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

CD Rate Scout is an informational comparison and marketing website. We are not a bank, credit union, lender, broker-dealer, investment adviser, insurance producer, or financial, legal or tax advisor. We do not take deposits, open accounts, hold funds or issue certificates of deposit. Any account you open is opened directly with the issuing institution under that institution’s own terms.

Using this website or submitting the scouting form requires that you be at least 18 years old, a U.S. resident and legally capable of entering a contract.

You agree that everything you submit is accurate, complete and your own, and that the phone number you provide belongs to you. Sending the form means you consent to being contacted by CD Rate Scout and participating providers by phone, text message and email, including through automated technology, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Submitting information does not lock in a rate and does not guarantee qualification, approval, eligibility, availability, contact from any provider or any particular financial outcome. Issuing institutions set rates, yields, terms, minimums and availability, and any of these may change at any time without notice.

Everything on this website — including the Maturity Planner and all educational material — is general information only, not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Planner outputs are estimates derived from your own inputs and do not represent any actual offer. Speak with a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

You agree not to submit false or third-party information, use automated means to access or scrape the site, interfere with its operation or security, reproduce its content commercially without permission, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

New York State law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and CD Rate Scout Ltd. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in New York County, New York, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
